Welcome to Ajano Art, SCULPTURE

As an artist, I find great joy in being able to intertwine my natural talent and the traditional Benin Bronze methods of my ancestors. Using simple raw ingredients such as: clay, water, stone, bronze, and iron, I create amazingly detailed works of art. Within my work, I often times like to blend realistic images with abstract stylization. I strive to produce sculptures that embody the physical likeness of the subject, conveys their essence, stirs the soul of those who view it, and serves as an heirloom to future generations.  What I see in my mind, and formulate with my hands, allows me to visually feed the mind of those who interact with my piece.
